The Brazilian community of Atlanta is united ! Basta ! (ENOUGH !) with the wrong and illegal behavior of some few people who are taking advantage of our patience, our friendship, and our good humor, and our love of humanity and the positive environment established by a majority of Brazilians in Atlanta.
We are workers and people who do honest work, often heavy and tiring, to improve our lives, the lives of our families here and in Brazil.
Stop thinking that a few people can continue to think that they can do as they like. We have arrived at the end of our patience with various things done by people with bad character. Stop thinking that the good name of the Brazilian community and the pride of being a Brazilian can be stolen by a small group of gangsters.
Basta ! (ENOUGH !) with prostitutes who are horrible examples for our daughters and sons !
Basta ! (ENOUGH !) with the scammers who take advantage of the trust of the recently arrived !
Basta ! (ENOUGH !) with those who create confusion in the market by false marketing without ethics and values !
Basta ! (ENOUGH !) thinking that you can continue without shame to do things you have always done without opposition !
Basta ! (ENOUGH !) thinking that you represent any value to our community !
You are no longer welcome here.
So be resolved the following demands:
- If you are a prostitute your presence is no longer tolerated at our parties our any other place in our community. From now on forward you with be isolated and investigated because, besides being a bad example, your work is illegal and presents a health risk for the health of others.
- If you are a scammer without any kind of ethics to rob people - you will pursued until you stop stealing the money, the dignity, and the hope of honest people.
- If you possibly recognize yourself in these words above you can plan to prepare your departure as soon as possible and leave us and our community in peace.
The following is a list of behavior which will no longer be tolerated without shame:
- The providing of alcohol, cigarettes, to minors, and drugs or anyone for that matter.
- Making friendship with our children and setting a bad influence and example.
- Taking advantage of the recently arrived.Be advised that the end is near - Basta ! (ENOUGH !)
What you can do
First, be part of our campaign/movement to clean up the worst elements and behaviors of our community. Sign your name or that of your organization below our cause.Sign and dedicated yourself to the following points:
- You will not give attention of any kind to a known prostitute and avoid their company thereby isolating her
- You will denounce the people that rob and steal or otherwise take advantage of any other person
- You will not allow wrong and illegal activities continue without the consequence of advising or denouncing someone of the crime of fraud.Basta ! (ENOUGH !) We cannot continue this way with unity and collaboration against the crime in our community.
